WHY SOMETIMES I HAVE TO DELETE THE USER.GUI FILE TO GET THINGS WORKING BETTER?

That is a question best left to the support team at TD Ameritrade. It seems to be their default first response when addressing many issues. I’m not really sure they expect it to fix the problem, only that they know it does seem to fix many issues. Sort of like when your Windows computer starts acting up, you just shut down and reboot to see if that fixes the problem. Why it works, nobody really knows for sure. We can however assist users in saving their workspace layout so that it can be easily restored after this procedure. If you are interested to learn about these techniques just reply to this comment and I will provide details as an answer to this question.
