Hello Pete. I would like to assign a background color to my watchlist column which will let me know when an intraday candle has crossed over the VWAP. If the candle has crossed over the VWAP the background color will appear as green. If not, the color will remain red. Could you please advise? Thank You

Since you are requesting a watchlist column for this solution I have moved your post out of the "Alerts and Notifications" topic and into the "Watch Lists" topic. Did you spend some time browse the enormous quantity of VWAP solutions that have already been posted? Seems your question has already been asked and solved many times.
