Change scan from daily to weekly time frame

Hey Pete,

Happy New Year. Thanks for your video and the code on using Ichimoku to scan stocks — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8U6KqBMmGM . I was able to get the scan to trigger using TOS. The scan shows correctly for stocks as per the daily chart. How do I get the scan to show stocks but on a weekly chart.

Thanks

Hilario

Change the aggregation period (time frame) from Day to Week. You set the aggregation period at the Study Filter. Just a couple clicks of the mouse.

There is nothing you can do to the code in the Study Filter that will impact the selected time frame.

Yes . I see that now. Thanks Pete. I Believe I need to change both the "Average Volume" Study and the "Custom" Study to WEEK. Right.

If you are applying an average volume filter to your scan you are not required to set that to weekly. If you do, you will need to adjust the volume threshold because there will be 5 times the volume on the weekly time frame than on the daily.
