Hello Pete – I have a study which gives out a signal when 4 ema crosses 20 ema. Can I place conditional order in tradestation when this crossover happens. How can i attach my study/indicator to an order template in Tradestation. I know this is possible in ThinkorSwim but could not find any solution for attaching a study / indicator in TS. Thank You in Advance.

I have never found anything in TradeStation platform which suggest this is possible. The closest item I found was what they refer to as "Activation Rule". And according to their explanation this can be based on a time or a price. But not a custom study of any kind: https://help.tradestation.com/10_00/eng/tsoptionpro/topics/place_orders_activation_rules.htm And I'm not sure why they would ever consider adding this feature because TradeStation already supports fully automated trading through Chart Strategies. Details are explained in the following video: https://www.hahn-tech.com/tradestation-strategy-guide/ And you will probably find one of the built-in chart strategies included with TradeStation are able to handle the exact scenario you just described.
