Conditional order entry?

Hello,

Not sure if I am even asking this in the right forum, but if anyone could help with this it would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to setup a contingent order as follows:
A buy market order at open that will trigger a 50% sell stoplimit that is +3.00% above opening price and a 100% trailing stop that is -5.00% from opening price.
I have been able to create that order successfully, but would like to be able add an order that would trigger off of the 50% sell stoplimit that will replace/modify the trailing stop with one that is -3.00% from the stoplimit trigger point on the remaining 50% position. I am not sure if I explained this very well.

The main hurdle you face is you are trying the achieve something with a conditional order which is actually not possible. More specifically, you are describing a bracket order, OCO. This is created entirely using the order entry tools and the conditional order has not bearing on any of the details you are trying to capture. (with the possible exception of “buy a market open”.

Contact the trade desk at TDA and they should be able to get you up and running. No code is required to do what you have requested.
