Is it possible to have a scan based on that script/logic?.

I tried with a “plot scan = paintBar;” at the end of the script but it did not work :-). Thought it would be that simple!

Is that possible. Appreciate your valuable input and guidance.

Yes, actually that is the precise answer. Or you can remove the last line code and merely change def paintBar to plot paintBar. If you are not getting the results you expected that can only mean you have not checked that your chart settings match those use for the scan. Such as selected time frame, user inputs, or the dreaded "Start aggregation at market open".
