Stock opening in the previous days range or value area

I was wondering if there is any scan on thinkorswim for scanning the stock which opens in the previous days range or/and value area?

Stocks that open within the previous day's range. This can be very simply constructed using the Condition Wizard:

This is the code that is generated using the Condition Wizard. Just a few clicks of the mouse and you are done:

open is greater than low from 1 bars ago and open is less than high from 1 bars ago

There is no need to learn how to write code for the vast majority of custom scans you dream up. So be sure to take the time to learn and research. Once you understand how to use the full power of this tool you will be building scans in your sleep.

The Value Area scan may be accomplished through that toll as well. However you would have to apply it to the built-in chart study named VolumeProfile. There is no way to do it for a price based value area.
