TOS Mansfield study

Hi Pete,

Hope you could help,

TOS has a Mansfield study (SPX), is there a way to compare stocks to their industries and not the SPX automatically.

I have never heard of a study named “Mansfield”. Is this some custom study you are using on your charts?

Without seeing the code for your custom version of this it is impossible for me to provide a solution. Since you mention that it is similar to the standard relative strength study I encourage you to view the following video. Be sure to watch the entire video as this indicator solves more than your original question. **It is not possible to read the industry or sector for any given symbol within thinkscript. So there is no way to automate the selection of an alternate comparison symbol. You must set the comparison symbol manually and build watchlists that are grouped accordingly.

yes, its custom study. but similar to relative strength (spx),

same question above but with the relative strength for stock industries vs spx automatically
