Hi Pete,

Hope all is going well with you and that you are having a fast recovery.

Is there a simple way to get Sierra to calculate the Camarilla levels on my intraday Chart?

What are Camarilla levels? How are they computed? Pretend like I am a just a dumb code writer that doesn’t know anything about trading. Then describe your request in sufficient detail so that I can provide a solution.

Its not easy to think of you as “a dumb code writer” Larry tells me how smart you are about every time your name comes up. So here it goes. This is what I found on the web. Camarilla levels are calculated by using yesterdays High, Low, ,and Close. Making today’s levels. H4=[0.55 x (H-L)]+C; H3=[0.275 x (H-L)]+C; H2=[0.183 x (H-L)+C; H1=[.0916 x (H-L)]+C; L1= C – [.0916 x (H-L)]; L2= C – [0.183 x (H-L)] L3= C – [0.275 x (H-L)]; and L4 = C – [.055 x (H-L)] Hope this correct. I was told this is already a built in indicator on TS. If you want more info I will try to find it.

Did you realize there is a built-in study that comes with Thinkorswim called “CamarillaPoints”?

Thanks I didn’t know it was on TOS. But is there a way to get it on Sierra?

My apologies. I lost track of the fact this was posted in the Sierra Chart section. However when I opened up Sierra Chart it only took me about 2 minutes to find these pivot levels are already included as a built-in study on Sierra Chart.

Screenshots below show the three steps required to load the study on the chart, and locate the study description which explains how to set this to compute Camarilla levels.
