Will faster internet improve performance?

I currently have 75 Mbs internet speed, and sometimes, chart update stalls or scan list calculations show loading. I can upgrade up to 1 Gbs. Is there any value as far as ThinkOrSwim to upgrading or is the limitation on the server side?

I have used Thinkorswim for years using various sources for internet. I have found no evidence that faster internet improves performance. The platform delays you typically experience are coming from their servers. Not from your own network or computer. Think of Thinkorswim as a sort of web based application. Everything on your screen is generated on Thinkorswim servers and delivered to your computer through the program API. Very little bandwidth is needed to deliver the updates to your computer. But their servers are frequently overloaded during high volume market conditions.
