Can you add more filters like “Scan In” and “Interset With”?

I’m looking to create a scan for stocks that meet the following criteria:

  1. A stock that is in a squeeze (on any time frame)
  2. Sector(s) that it belongs in (prefer it’s in the top 10 holdings) and sector is in a squeeze
  3. Index that it is in whether it be Dow, Nasdaq, S&P or Russell and it’s also in a squeeze

I can build a scan that shows multiple time frame squeeze (attached) but I’m not sure how to get the relevant data that I want.

Example I want IBB

  1. I want to see it on multiple time frames and is it in a squeeze
  2. I’d like to see the top 5-10 holdings (Celgene, Biogen, Amgen, Gilead, etc. and are they in squeezes?
  3. Nasdaq ishares ETF, is the NQ in a squeeze on any time frame?

Thanks for the assistance!

The direct answer to the question title “Can you add more filters like Scan In and Intersect With”, is no.

Let’s see if we can achieve any of the details listed in the question description.

  1. Yes, we can steal some code from the following video to do this:
  2. I find nothing in the thinkscript language that permits use to read the sector or industry that any given ticker symbol belongs to. So I’m going to say no here. There is also no way for thinkorswim to read the “top ten holdings” of any industry, sector or ETF.
  3. Same as #2, thinkscript language does not support this.

So overall I would say we cannot provide a solution to this request. Seeing that items 2 and 3 are the most essential elements to your request.

What if I manually input those top 10 holdings from the ETF. Have it on a watchlist already? Thank you for the feedback!

Well then you would have no need for the scan. I thought you were asking for a scan. If you do this manually, and place the ticker symbols on a watchlist…. what more are you asking to do?

Well very good point. I guess I was wanting it more in the form of an indicator rather than watchlist.

Ok, well I’m not clear on what further assistance you are requesting, if any. Seems to me you have everything covered?
