Are you a fan of Volume Profile? This video shows you how to run a custom scan using Volume Profile to identify 4 separate signals commonly used by Profile traders. Both long a short signals are included. This scan projects the Volume Profile from the prior period into the current one. It then uses the Value Area to locate tradable opportunities commonly used by Profile traders. Parameters are included to adjust the sensitivity and duration used to identify potential entries.

    Hi Pete, Sorry to bug you, I just started watching this video, however I noticed that the Scan_VolProfile.txt not a .ts where I can open in file and import from the downloaded file. Am I missing anything? Kindly help! Thanks

    ok thank you but nothing appears any different then the built in vol. profile study ..am I missing something …I installed the code w\t the 4 plots so is there an additional fee for the plot lines and arrows .. really appreciate all you do

    MR. Hahn recently watched and down loaded scan vol. profile..[ into studies] …im not getting lower plot info or arrows ..and on some tickers they appear thin ..ive watched the video 3 times ..thanks in advance

      When you say, “crossing VA’s”. What exactly do you mean? I would guess that VA stood Value Area. Which is the entire profile. But that doesn’t make sense. So I guess you actually meant to say “crossing the VAH and VAL levels”? If that is the case, simply adjust the user inputs until the trigger range has vanished. You probably need to see this in a screenshot so post in the Q&A forum if you still have questions.

        Pete, thank you for your prompt reply and apologies for the lack of clarification. Yes, you guessed it spot on that I meant VAH and VAL. I’ve tried adjusting the inputs to fine tune it to no avail, so I have posted a query in the Q&A section. Thank you in advance.
